The purpose of the Land Division Committee is to consider land severances not processed by plan of subdivision.

One (1) Citizen member will be nominated by Whitby Town Council for appointment to the Land Division Committee by Regional Council. Members will be appointed for a four (4) year term coinciding with the term of Council and shall consist of eight (8) members, all of which must be residents of the Region of Durham.
